About Charlie

Scrappy (aka Charlie) is an adorable and friendly pup, approx 1.5-2 years old, who found himself in a Texas shelter recently. He's so eager to learn and to please his people! He's about 30 lbs, has a stocky short stature, (we think Corgi with Border Collie or Heeler) cute big paws, and an ever wagging tail. He's very friendly with anyone he meets, loves his foster family and resident dog. He is potty trained, recently learned to use a doggie door, and leashed walks are his favorite now. He's very food motivated and is starting to learn some cues. Charlie is missing one of his top canine teeth but doesn't stop him in pursuit of bones. Charlie is a quiet boy who sleeps in his crate through the night and goes there willingly. He'd love to find a family with a fenced in yard and someone home more often than not. He hasn't been tested with cats or small kids, but a respectful kid 8+ should be fine. He is neutered, utd on vax, chipped, and HW negative. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.
