MEET CURLEY - A LITTLE DOG WITH A BIG HEART! Some of the sweetest things in life come in small packages. And Curley is living proof! Meet Curley, an adorable 5-year-old Terrier weighing just 13.4 pounds, with a charming personality, a gentle spirit, and a heart ready to share with someone special. Curley is the kind of little companion who can make an ordinary day feel wonderful. He loves affection, enjoys being close to people, and is perfectly happy climbing into a welcoming lap for some quality cuddle time. And if you happen to know how to give a good ear scratch, you've already discovered one of the quickest ways to win his heart! Despite his small size, Curley has a confident, curious personality. He enjoys going for walks, behaves nicely on leash, and likes exploring the world around him. But when the adventures are over, this sweet boy is just as happy settling down beside someone who loves him. A LITTLE PATIENCE, A LOT OF LOVE: Like many dogs adjusting to shelter life, Curley has a few things he'd appreciate his future family understanding. He can be sensitive to unexpected handling, particularly around his face. But as he becomes more comfortable and learns to trust, he's showing improvement. A patient, gentle approach will help him feel safe and secure. Curley could also use a little grooming and pampering. With some tender loving care, this handsome little fellow will be ready to show off his best self! WHAT ABOUT OTHER ANIMALS? Curley has shown curiosity toward cats without displaying significant reactivity, suggesting he may be able to share a home with a feline friend. Proper introductions would still be important. He has also remained calm around dogs in neighboring kennels, although he has not yet been formally tested with other dogs. His compatibility with canine companions remains to be determined. ONE LITTLE THING TO REMEMBER! Curley is quite the curious explorer! He has a tendency to investigate doors and gates, so his future family will need to be careful about keeping exits secure.
