About Calypso

Calypso is a very curious and playful boy who loves sink water and getting his pets daily. He has a lot of youthful energy and enjoys playing with other cats. It's not my wish to rehome him, I love him a lot but due to male stray cats in our area he has had issues with marking. We've tried to find ways with dissuading the outdoor cats from spraying and trying to reduce his territorial behavior but our attempts to deal with his stress have not been successful. In addition we believe the fact that we have 4 female cats who are all fixed have also contributed to this problem. He's a good boy, he's silly and loving but it's evident that our home may not be what's best for him. I think he'll be happier with someone who can provide a home without these additional stresses. He's a big goober who I often say is all body and no brain because he's pretty but not bright. He'll often steal my chair because he wants me to playfully try to steal it back. He can be a little dramatic because he whines for attention and reaches up as if he needs you. While he doesn't like to be held he does like attention. Ever since he was little he's had a love for strawberries which I don't know how that happened since we've had him since he was a baby. He likes balls and is fascinated by bubbles. While he is not a cuddly boy he will sleep near you and loves heated blankets. He's okay with brushing and if you put a treat in the sink he'll happily eat it which makes it really easy to trim his booty which is necessary given how fluffy he is. I just want him to have a happy home with someone who can give him the peace he deserves.
