Her foster describes her as a 'silly clown,' and her personality shines when she feels loved. She's friendly with adults and children, does well with cats, and needs slow introductions to other dogs. She could also be happy as your only dog, soaking up your affection. Sammy is crate trained, walks on a leash, and rides well in the car. She currently uses puppy pads and will need patience and consistency as she learns her new home's potty routine. With her medium energy level, she could do well in an apartment and doesn't require a yard. She can be a flight risk, so secure doors, a properly fitted leash and harness, and careful supervision are important. Sammy eats separately from other pets and needs a chicken-free diet. She also has a metal plate in her right leg that is monitored for loosening. Her foster reports no loosening so far and does not expect it to be a problem. Baby Sammy urgently needs a new foster home or a loving adopter!
