About Ranger

Meet Ranger, a handsome 1%BD-year-old, 30-pound boy with a golden coat, a dark saddle across his back, and soulful brown eyes that seem to be quietly sizing up the world. Ranger is very timid, and he'll need a patient person who lets him come around in his own time. He's a smart fellow, and with some training and a whole lot of love, we think he'll blossom into a loyal companion. Two things his future family should know: Ranger eats chickens, so his ideal home is one with no feathered residents and no chicken coops within reach, and we're unsure how he does with cats. If you've got a quiet place in your home and a soft spot for a shy dog who's worth the wait, Ranger may be your guy. His adoption fee is $120. He isn't neutered yet, but all HDHS dogs are altered prior to adoption. Call High Desert Humane Society at 575-538-9261 to meet him!
