About Adonis

*PLEASE APPLY TO ADOPT ON THE RESCUE'S WEBSITE WWW.HAIROFTHEDOGRESCUE.PET. ONLY LOCAL BAY AREA APPLICANTS PLEASE* Adonis a 5 year old Formosian/Taiwanese Mountain dog mix (these breeds are not available in the dropdown menu). He weighs about 30 lbs. He was adopted when he was 6 months old andhad a very loving family. His owner sadly, unexpectedly passed away and the folks at Hair of the Dog - A Bay Area Rescue are trying to find his new home. He is currently in foster with a dog trainer/walker. He is a little nervous in new situations but warms up quickly and loves making new friends, dogs and humans, who give him the time he needs to trust without pressure. He grew up with cats and teenagers, is potty trained and crate trained. He also loves a good road trip! Hiking and going to the beach are his favorite things to do. Except for cuddles on the couch, those always come in first! A home with an active family and another dog to help boost his confidence would be the best fit for Adonis. He's a sweet and sensitive guy and responds well to positive reinforcement. Please fill out an application to adopt on the rescue website: www.hairofthedogrescue.pet
