About Winston

Meet Winston, the 73-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart of gold, a PhD in snuggling, and a very serious career in backyard lizard hunting. At around 7 years old, Winston has perfected the art of being the best kind of dog - affectionate, smart, playful, housebroken, and absolutely convinced that your couch was purchased specifically for him. This handsome guy is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, great with kids, and has excellent leash manners. He LOVES going for walks and showing off his athletic side. And don't let that little bit of porky midsection fool you�'�| this boy can MOVE! Winston loves chasing balls, flying stuffies, and anything else that gives him an excuse to show off his inner athlete. He also LOVES his toys and will happily entertain himself with his stuffies, but playing ball with his humans? That's even better. And then there's Winston's favorite activity�'�| CUDDLING. This boy is a professional leaner, an expert snuggler, and a world-class recipient of ear scratches. He has never met a person he didn't like and will happily soak up every bit of love you're willing to give him. He takes treats gently, listens well, and is one smart cookie. There is just one important thing Winston wants to make very clear: He wants to be your ONE AND ONLY. Winston does best without other dogs or cats.
