About Nala

Nala is a sweet, Labrador/Belgian Malinois mix who is friendly with people and other dogs. She is extremely energetic and loves running, playing in the hose or kiddie pool. Nala enjoys working and needs plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, structure, and training. She was previously being trained for service dog work, but her high energy made it difficult for her to remain still, so she would do best with an active, experienced owner familiar with working breeds. Nala is wonderful with children, but because she is large and energetic a home without young children or with older children who understand how to interact safely with dogs would be best. She is up to date on her vaccinations and recently received her three year rabies vaccine. She is not spayed yet her veterinarian recommended waiting until she was at least one year old, and she is now just over a year old. Her adopter needs to schedule a veterinary appointment for spaying. She would thrive in an active home that can provide daily exercise, consistent training, socialization, and plenty of activities to keep her busy.
