Meet Bella - A Gentle Giant Looking for Her Fresh Start! I originally knew Bella from a difficult situation where she had no training and a rough start in life. Recently, a friend spotted her on the shelter's euthanasia list after her previous owner abandoned her simply because she 'got too big.' I couldn't let her run out of time, so I went down and adopted her to save her life and find her a proper home. Unfortunately, shelters and rescues are so overcrowded right now that finding her an adopter has been really tough. Bella is a 100-pound Great Dane mix, and she is a total sweetheart. She is already spayed and up to date on all her shots. She loves nothing more than to be loved and cuddle. Because she missed out on early training, she needs some guidance-she is a big girl, can be hard to walk, and gets over-excited when she sees other dogs. Because I already have three big dogs of my own, juggling everyone's yard time and her training needs has become a huge challenge. She just needs a patient owner, foster, or rescue who has the time to help her with leash manners and show her the structured life she deserves. If you or someone you know has room in their heart (and home) for a 100-pound lovebug, please reach out!
