And just like that, Sophie's world changed. Since losing him, Sophie hasn't quite been herself. (Yes, dog's grieve just like humans do.) Sophie needs a different environment where she can feel safe and secure. Meet Sophie! A beautiful 6-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix with a gorgeous red and white coat and a personality just as lovely as her looks! Sophie has so much love to give and so many wonderful qualities to share! A LITTLE ABOUT SOPHIE: 6 years old. Husky/German Shepherd mix. Spayed and microchipped. Housebroken with wonderful house manners. Knows her basic commands and fun tricks! Smart, playful, sweet, and affectionate. HER FAVORITE THINGS: Playing catch and enjoying her toys. Going on walks and runs. Car rides and traveling (she does amazing!) Cuddle time with her people. Yummy treats (which she takes very gently!). Talking! Sophie is quite the chatty girl and can even say 'I love you!' WHAT MAKES SOPHIE SO SPECIAL? Sophie is friendly and sweet with people, including new friends. She's good on a leash and knows an impressive collection of commands and tricks, including sit, stand up, jump, spin, lay down, and talk! HOW ABOUT OTHER ANIMALS? Sophie has experience living with and spending time around other dogs and cats. Her family shares that she has enjoyed dog park visits, extended stays with other dogs, and living with a cat. She especially loves smaller dogs. When meeting dogs in her home, she appreciates a little time to get comfortable. She's a very special girl who simply deserves a family willing to give her the love and care she has to offer in return.
