About Miss Dottie

MISS DOTTIE - A SWEETHEART! Meet Dottie, a beautiful 2-3-year-old, 68-pound Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix who is absolutely, positively one of a kind. Dottie is insanely sweet and has a huge heart. In fact, she's easily one of her prior foster's top two favorite dogs. She LOVES her people and wants to be right there with you-whether you're cooking dinner, working, folding laundry, relaxing on the couch, or heading to bed. And bedtime? Dottie is a professional snuggler. She loves curling up beside her person, often resting her head on a pillow, shoulder, or chest. She's also a very smart girl who is eager to learn. She's been working on sit and stay and will usually show off those skills in the yard. She loves toys, Kongs, and Nyla bones, and she has discovered that squeaky toys are�'�| well�'�| confusing. Watching her try to figure out why that thing is making noise is absolutely hilarious. Dottie was wonderful in the house with no accidents and no destructive behavior when given a quiet space of her own. She also enjoys walks and can do beautifully on leash when she's calm. Now, we have to talk about Dottie's other personality. Sometimes her inner chaos gremlin comes out, but in a cute way. She is currently working on leash skills, too and doing fantastic. For now, we believe Dottie would do best as the only pet in the home. Dottie is a REALLY great dog. She is affectionate. She is smart. She is funny. She is loving. She wants to be with her person. She just needs someone who will say: If you're an looking for a big, goofy, ridiculously sweet companion who will happily curl up next to you after a day of adventures, Miss Dottie may be your girl. She deserves someone who will see past the chaos and recognize the amazing dog that she is.
