KANE LOST HIS PERSON. NOW HE NEEDS SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HIM. Meet Kane. Kane is a handsome 7-8-year-old Terrier/American Bulldog mix weighing around 80 pounds, and this big boy has a BIG heart. Sadly, Kane recently lost his owner. The person he loved, trusted, and called his own is gone-and Kane is now back with our rescue, trying to make sense of a world that suddenly changed. And honestly? It breaks our hearts. But Kane is still choosing joy. He's strong. He's athletic. He's loyal. He bonds deeply with his people, and what he wants more than anything is to feel safe, understood, and loved again. And we're learning more about him every day. Kane prefers a cat free home He enjoys older kids. He rides beautifully in the car. He loves getting out and exploring with his people. He does well with confident, well-socialized dogs and could potentially live with a calm female dog after a proper introduction. He loves his rope Jolly Ball. He is completely unfazed by loud birds, grumpy dogs, or even BOATS. And apparently, Kane has very refined culinary preferences: hamburgers ) fries. Kane recently had what might have been the BEST DAY EVER: Pup cup Home Depot adventure Walk in the park Car rides Plenty of big, sloppy kisses At Home Depot, Kane was calm and neutral around people. At the park, he was completely uninterested in the dogs he passed. At the drive-thru, he was sweet and curious. He even discovered the back-seat air vent and seemed pretty impressed. Kane is a strong, athletic guy, so he needs someone who can provide structure, consistency, exercise, and patience. He isn't looking for someone to simply manage him-he needs someone willing to build a relationship with him. And after everything he has lost, we think he deserves that chance. His trainer's latest assessment? 'I think he's super adoptable.' We agree. Kane isn't looking for a perfect person. He's looking for his person. Someone who will give him time. Someone who will see the good in him. Someone who will help him understand that losing his first family doesn't mean he has to lose his chance at having a family again. Kane is ready for his next chapter. Are you the one who will help him write it? P.S. Kane's adoption fee has been generously sponsored!
