About Francis

Meet Francis! Francis is a beautiful Shepherd mix, around 7 years old and 65 pounds of pure sweetness. This girl is calm, gentle, and just an all-around lovely companion. She walks beautifully on a leash and is great with dogs, cats, and kids! She especially enjoys playing with her dog friends, but when playtime is over, she's perfectly happy to curl up for a nice long nap. Francis isn't really interested in toys, but she is very interested in cheeseburgers! She also loves freeze-dried salmon treats, although peanut butter and fries don't quite make her list of favorites. She's a quiet girl who rarely barks-so far, the only barking has been during playtime. She isn't destructive at all and did perfectly fine being crated when left alone. She also sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She responded quickly to a simple 'no' and moved along, so this is something her family will just want to continue working on. Mostly, Francis is a sweet, calm, easygoing girl who loves her people, enjoys canine friends, and appreciates a good nap. If you're looking for a gentle, mature companion who can fit right into your family, Francis may be your girl!
