Frankie is a 4-year-old female red purebred Doberman. This family has had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is a very sweet, sensitive, doofy, loyal, and well-behaved dog. She has great recall and is crate trained. She loves kids and is gentle with them. She leaves their toys alone and is not destructive. Sometimes she forgets her size and has recently knocked over the 3-year-old in the home. The family recently had a baby and are concerned about her getting hurt. Frankie has been through extensive training and socializing, but the veterinarian believes she has a neurological issue that causes some problems. She is on the max dose allowable of Trazadone and gets daily exercise (including doggy daycare a couple of times a month). She is easily startled and has anxiety (when not home) to the point of not going potty and not eating. She has a sensitive stomach as well. She is on I/D prescription food and will have severe multiple nightly episodes of diarrhea without it. She is also on a daily Proin for incontinence. A great home for her would be low key with people that have patience. She will do well with other animals with proper introductions.
