About Olivia

DOB: 07/09/26 Meet Olivia, an adorable little blackie in need of a special furever family! Little Livi was believed to be abandoned at the Oxbow Eco-Center in PSL. She ran around for days, wouldn't let the volunteers near her. Eventually one of the preserve goes spotted her & posted in a local lost & found pet group on Facebook. We came across the post & as we are only 3 miles away, immediately raced over with a trap & sardines. The kitten was running around. Once we set the trap in the right place where the kitten was hiding under the boardwalk, we caught her in less than 5 minutes. She was very malnourished & obviously starving to death. At home she seemed fine, just very skinny with minor skin problems, but within a couple days she started going downhill. She wouldn't eat more than a bite & was very weak & sick for several days. She had to be force-fed. But God healed her & now she is recovering quickly! Olivia is great with everyone, whether people or animals. She's sweet & gentle. She still has some skin problems we're treating & is still rather small for her age, but she is now available for pre-adoption! Her ear tips may stay ragged from the skin problem because it wasn't treated soon enough. Other than that, she should suffer no other ill effects! The adoption fee will cover her spay, rabies vaccine, & microchip after adoption at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast in Palm City.
