About Melissa

Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm a sweet girl with a whole lot of love waiting for the right person! I was rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC), and now I'm getting something pretty wonderful: a chance to find a family of my very own. My rescue is still getting to know me, so I don't have a long list of favorite activities or funny little habits to share just yet. But here's what they already know: I'm a very sweet girl who deserves to be loved! Right now, I'm settling into my new surroundings and getting the chance to show everyone who I really am outside of the shelter. As I get more comfortable, my rescue will learn more about my personality, my preferences, and all the little things that make me Melissa. I may not have a big, exciting story to tell, but I don't think I need one to be someone's perfect match. Sometimes the sweetest dogs are the ones quietly waiting for someone to notice them.
