My dog got out in MD and bit another dog. The other dog lived but did require some medical attention. Also, I think the owner of the other dog was injured in the tussel (not a dog bite). She sued us and now my insurance is mandating I get rid of my dog. He is a pit mix, about 95 pounds. He's incredibly sweet and loving and amazing with people. He has a high prey drive and though he can be good and play with other dogs, when off leash, he has shown aggression.%BD%A0 He is a runner and I hired a private trainer who worked miracles with him. My boy is good on the leash 99% of the time (he gets a little excited when we see deer). He knows a lot of commands, no longer charges the door (used to try to run out as people come in and out) and we've corrected so many of his problematic behaviors.%BD%A0 He's lovable, and very loved by our family. He's trainable and desires to please people. He doesn't show any food agression. He is not good with cats, questionable with other dogs. Would be best in a fenced yard but does well on a leash. He is fine with kids but often gets over zealous and will run.%BD%A0 It breaks my heart to look for a new home, but I also can't go without insurance. This is the hardest thing I've done. Thank yo for your time.%BD%A0
