About Atlas

Atlas has been our loving family pet for 6 years. We recently moved from TX to MA, and this change has made him very unsettled. He loves our family and our kids, but he has become very aggressive towards any strangers - especially men. We are in a townhome now, and his anxious barking is becoming a problem with our landlord and neighbors. He hasn't been able to get along with other dogs since he was about 9 months old. He does well with our young kids (toddlers), but not with strangers at all. He recently nipped my uncle who was not provoking him in any way. We have tried rehoming him with my sister and my parents, but neither has a fenced in yard or enough time to train him. He has so much love to give and he loves his family so much. He is very motivated to learn - especially when treats are involved.
