About Sampson

French Bulldog mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Sampson is the definition of a sweet, mellow Frenchie with a big smile and a gentle heart! This handsome 5-year-old Blue Merle French Bulldog weighs 30 pounds and is one of those dogs who makes himself right at home wherever he goes. Sampson is friendly, trusting, and affectionate. He's wonderfully chill for a Frenchie, sticks close to his humans, and loves his cuddles. He's also great on leash and non-reactive when passing other dogs. While he can coexist peacefully around other dogs on walks, Sampson is dog-selective and would be happiest as the only dog in his forever home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. When he's not following his people around, you'll probably find him doing his signature froggy sploot on a cool patch of grass or tile. He's house-trained and does great in his crate overnight and in the mornings. He's still working on feeling comfortable being crated when his foster family leaves, but he's making progress. He would do best in a household where his people are home more often than not. Sampson is smart, very food-motivated, and doing beautifully with positive-reinforcement training. He has a little playful nibble we're working on, and he's learning to channel his enthusiasm in appropriate ways. He's also surprisingly athletic-this boy can jump high, and we're talking serious Frenchie hops! Sampson would thrive with a family who will continue his training, give him plenty of love, and appreciate his confident personality. If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who wants to be your one and only, Sampson might just be your perfect match! Neutered, house-trained, kid-friendly, and endlessly handsome, Sampson is ready to find his forever people!
