About Sami

Meet Sami: A sweet, loving girl searching for her perfect single-dog home ��%90 �%9D%A4��%8F Sami is an incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate girl who loves people and has so much love to give. We adopted her from a shelter in January 2026 after she had a rocky start in life. She was originally on a euthanasia list before being pulled into foster care, but unfortunately, she was returned when it wasn't a perfect fit. Knowing her background, we couldn't let her face that risk again, so we opened our hearts and home to her. While Sami is wonderful with humans, we have run into a heartbreaking obstacle. She and our resident dog, whom we have had for a long time, are continually getting into serious fights. Despite our deepest love for both of them, the situation has become unsafe. Both dogs and the humans in the house have been injured. Unfortunately, we simply do not have the specialized tools, resources, or environment required to safely manage and correct severe household dog-to-dog conflict. Because we love Sami deeply, we want better for her and for our other dog. It breaks our hearts to make this decision, but we know she deserves to thrive in an environment where she can feel completely secure. What Sami needs to succeed: �'ۢ An only-pet home: Sami will absolutely blossom as the center of someone's universe with no other dogs around. �'ۢ An experienced handler: A home with dog-training experience would be ideal to help her continue to grow and feel confident.
