About Sammy

Sammy is a very cute, cow spotted (Piebald patterned) 11 month old puppy that is close to his full grown weight at 50 pounds. He is a great couch potato and a great activity companion. We think he is likely a mix of many breeds, including some hound, like Pointer, and some type of pitty, without high energy. He is fostered in Corvallis. He walks well on leash, rides well in the car, is house trained, enjoys boating, playing with toys, cuddling and sleeping on your bed if allowed. Sammy can stay home loose without any problem. He alert barks, but will not bark for the sake of making noise, even when dogs in neighboring yards bark. Sammy gets along with dog savvy cats and loves other dogs. This handsome pup is neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and microchipped. He comes with his own supplies: front clip harness, collar, leash, bed, food bowls, toys, and the remainder of his food and his Omega 3 supplement. His adoption fee is $175. Sammy had a negative experience with mistreatment or teasing by a child, so a home without children is needed. Quieter dog savvy teens are fine. A great home for Sammy and his must haves include: 1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard, ideally a regular sized yard. 2. Folks not gone long hours. Sammy is fine to stay home up to 5 hours on his own without any problem. 3. Adopters who treat dogs as family members, including them in their fun activities, supplying good nutrition and great care. 4. People who are more mushy than not. Sammy is a gentle boy and would love to sleep on your bed, or at least on his bed in your room. 5. Dog savvy and ideally rescue savvy adopters. 6. Folks who walk their dog daily. 7.
