About Davina

*Info. below is from her temporary foster My foster has been with me a few weeks from the Cumberland County Animal Shelter, which is a kill shelter. Out of all the fosters I've had so far, Davina needs the least amount of work. In fact, I think she's quite perfect. Never judge a book by its cover, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Davina. She has a great personality and temperament that will work for every family that has kids of any age, and other dogs, and possibly even cats. You must meet her to know how perfectly she'll fit in yours. Here's what I know about Davina: - She's about 6 yrs old. - She is said to be a bully breed mix. Either with a lab or boxer. I've had three boxers and she reminds me of each of them. - She's VERY food motivated. Not sure if she's just a bottomless pit, or if she genuinely likes blueberries, green beans, apples, and bananas. A real house hippo if I ever met one. - She does fine in the tub, but will hop out the moment she has an opportunity. - She does pull a little on the leash, but not in a way that you have to pull her back to keep her from dragging you. She's not that bad. She just helps you reach your power walk potential. - She loves riding shotgun and loves going on car rides. - Zero accidents in the house. - She chases her tail. - She'll howl if you howl first. - She enjoys perching by the window to people watch. - She is Hounds Town Doggie Daycare approved. They said she is confident in the pack and playful with a sweet personality. I love seeing her make friends. - Davina is healthy. No issues. Although, due to her food drive, she will need a family that makes her fitness a priority. - She does like playing with her doggie toys. - She'll sleep on the bed and not move the whole night - not every night. - When her water dish is empty she'll move it to make noise and let you know she's thirsty. - She will make the bells at the door jingle when she needs to go outside. - She's not a big jumper. - She likes adventure, not being at home all day every day. - She does like to sit on the your lap and her playfulness is gentle. - It's clear that Davina places her status higher than that of merely just a pet.
