About BearBear

Meet BearBear, 7, black lab / Pit Bull Terrier mix, about 55 lb, neutered, a pro at the floor flop. He plays catch and loves his light up black ball ('baba'), which goes with him. Good with dogs small and big, no aggression toward kids, never bitten anyone. He needs attention and training I cannot give him, and randomly snaps at other animals. He can eat around other animals but shows resource aggression out of nowhere, so he needs supervision and space or separation when needed. If you have handled this snapping before, or will work with a trainer, he can thrive. He was born with a deformed front left paw; congenital but does not bother him. Had left ear hematoma, healed on its own. House-trained, though he has had accidents, so expect a refresher as he settles. Ideal home: mostly one level with rugs or carpet, easy walks on grass, daily love, attention, and training. A written adoption agreement applies. Occasional photos or updates would mean the world, but are not a dealbreaker.
