Eli is an affectionate 6-year-old Texas Heeler (red heeler and Australian shepherd mix) who responds well to basic commands. He is microchipped and UTD on shots as well as flea and tick meds. He's indoor/outdoor, used to farm life, and has always had access to a doggie door. Though well-socialized with both people and dogs, he has become territorial and can no longer be trusted off-leash with other dogs. Under leash, he walks well and does not react or lunge at other dogs. He would make a devoted companion for a good owner who has land or a yard.
