About Scooter

Welcome Scooter to CCPAL Rescue. Scooter is a Chug (Chihuahua/Pug) puppy. He weighs 5 pounds and is 9 weeks old. He will be a small dog full grown. He should be 15 pounds or less. He is very sweet and has an adorable rounded head. He likes to be held, is good in a crate, goes on a wee pad and loves to play with toys. He was born at the Rescue. They took in a stray female and she was pregnant. This means the puppies get lots of attention and are very used to being in a loud and rowdy environment. Scooter would be best in a home that the person doesn't work all day every day. He needs to finish up his puppy training. Social pups make great adults and now is the time for him to spend time with his family and to go places and let people pet him. He is an AMAZING puppy. He would be fine with children. Due to his small size, we would like children to be 8 or older. He is getting his puppy vaccines and will have 3. He will then be ready for neuter and adoption. He still pees like a girl which is great as it means he won't be a marker. He can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
