About Athena

Athena is a very sweet 1 year old Catahoula rescue who loves to run, hike, loves people, is good with dogs, and no health issues. She has hiked in rain or sun, dry or mud, happily for 8 miles and would go farther. She spends time in yard hunting lizards or squirrels, running with other dogs or fetch. Good at doggie day care for boarding. Rarely barks. Very patient and non reactive when dogs bark at her. Makes that high pitched sound when excited. Will walk with fireworks popping or thunder and doesn't care. Climbs trees. Will happily snuggle on couch. Very sweet. Looking for very active forever home. She's easy going, loves to give kisses, and wants to run for hours. Good in the car. Another dog playing got it's jaw stuck in her collar and started biting her lip and she just stood there until I got the collar off. Non reactive and gentle.
