About Maximus

Max is a family dog that loves to run in the dog park and catch flying objects. The wind in his huge ears is like music to a conductor. He has working dog energy and loves water, especially if sprayed witha hose. Sirens are his cue to howl but he thinks it's a duet! Max is curious about indoor cats but outside, prey driven. Max is playful and loves all dogs, male, female small to large. Not typically dominant, but wants to be chased, or play 'keep away' with a ball. Requires a choke collar but even his 76 yr old grandma can walk him! Max knows some basic commands and would appreciate ongoing training. Highly alert with ball Chucker, requiring training to not jump on anyone holding a chucker. The family is devastated that they have to rehome him but their personal life has made a drastic change and they can no longer care for him the way he deserves.
