About Leah

Leah has never quite accepted that she is too big to be a lap dog. She loves being close to her people and is happy to tell you when she wants another cuddle. She is a nearly 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix, about 57 pounds, spayed and housetrained. Her foster notes describe her as good with dogs and children. Her compatibility with cats is unknown. Leah has hip issues and needs a family willing to accommodate them. Team Memphis Rescue & Support will discuss her care plan, supplements and pain-relief needs with interested adopters. She is also open to a suitable long-term foster home. Leah is currently in a Pennsylvania foster home. We welcome inquiries from Saint Marys and surrounding communities; a meeting is arranged with the rescue. Contact Team Memphis Rescue & Support through this listing to talk about whether Leah would be a good fit. Adoption fee: $350.
