Meet our sweet boy! �%9D%A4��%8F He's a 3-4-year-old Anatolian Shepherd / Black Mouth Cur mix with the biggest heart. He's incredibly intelligent, affectionate, loyal, and bonds deeply with his person. He's naturally most comfortable with women but has proven that, with patience and consistency, he can build wonderful, trusting relationships with men, too! We've dedicated countless hours to both obedience and behavioral training, focusing on building confidence, trust, and desensitization to unfamiliar sounds and situations. He's made incredible progress and knows numerous commands! He has some apparent vision and hearing limitations on his right side, which may contribute to his sensitivity to sudden movements or unexpected sounds. Due to a recent food-related incident involving a physical reaction toward a teenager, we're looking for a calm, adult-only home with someone experienced in working with protective, sensitive dogs. He needs someone patient who understands his breed and is willing to continue the behavioral progress he's already made. Unfortunately, family circumstances mean we're unable to keep him. We're desperately hoping to avoid a traditional shelter environment, as the stress and noise could undo much of the progress we've worked so hard to achieve. He's genuinely the sweetest boy with so much love to give. He just needs the right person who understands him and is willing to help him continue growing. Please reach out for more information!
