About Truck

Please assist: I have a 4 y/o Staffordshire mixed breed, neutered, 59lb medium-size ,black and white dog in urgent need of placement as I have to move and can't take him with me. Truck is a fun, burst of energy but instructable. He is crate and house trained and knows simple commands including sit, stay, leave it, center and touch. He loves to play fetch of leash in small areas or on his long leash. He is well mannered on leash but when he fixates and stares he responds to redirection and distraction with treats. He has been in behavioral training for selectivity towards certain breeds of dogs and has responded well to positive reinforcement training. He has also shown he can interact with other dogs friendly, playfully and appropriately. He is resource cooperative. I have had no behavioral issues with my family members or friends but with strangers on the street he can be shy, aloof or vocally inappropriate. He has had no true interactions with cats or children. Truck is loyal, resilient, intelligent, funny, sweet and with encouragement shows off his true personality as an affectionate, snuggle bug. He would make a dedicated pet for someone with patience and who will be consistent with his behavioral training and care. He is in good health, current on all vaccines and no real medical problems.
