About Jerry

Hi this is Jerry! He is a real cutie! He has papers, pure breed. He is roughly 3 to 31/2 years old. He has always gone to Northgate Animal for all shots and boarding. He is a super sweet boy but I think he would do best without children & preferably no other animals. If he is 100% supervised maybe a dog smaller than him.. def monitored every time. He is used to being in a crate while we are gone, and he likes his crate. Bedtime is 9/10 pm-up at 7/8 am- if able nap time 10:30 or 11:00 back outside or inside after couple to 3 hours. He is good inside but since he has not been neutered he needs to wear a diaper because he will mark his territory. He really Loves to be outside and watch squirrels and birds and deer. He will Shiba scream if he sees a lot of deer! or when he has to get a bath! We let Northgate do the bath, nails. He is extremely smart!! And very affectionate if he gets to know you! He loves to play soccer, go on walks/car rides, hikes and snuggle before 9 pm then he is grumpy and will growl if he is settled. He eats 1/2 cup to 1 cup of food 2 x's a day & a little when he goes to bed and a treat if available. He has been around our 2 dogs, sometimes it's fine and other times it's not and they get into a scuffle. He likes our teen boys unless he is cranky. He does not take to strangers and is a great watch dog. I don't want to rehome him but we have to sadly.
