About Bubs

ADOPTION DEBUT! Holy Hound Dog Lovers, have we got a funny, old man for you! I bet you know the story by now...Bubs was in a very good shelter for 3 months with no interest at all. Even awesome shelters are full these days and face making hard decisions about euthanasia. And so when Bubs' life was at risk, this half crazy, wholely hound loving team decided to pull Bubs into our program! Bubs is 10 year old, 68 pound barrel of goof! He enjoys running and barking and eating and barking and eating! He is crate trained and treat motivatd and ready to try his hardest to be a good boy! Bubs is good with other dogs and wouldn't mind having a couple human kiddos to all tell about the adventures he had when he was a youngster! Hounds need your help now more than ever! Be like Bubs! Bark loud for hound welfare! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3 charitable rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, Va. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
