About Blue

Hello, I'm looking for a responsible rescue placement for Blue, my 7 year old neutered male Husky-Akita mix. Blue is house trained, knows basic commands, is up to date on vaccinations, has no known health concerns, and does well with adults. He is high energy, protective, and territorial, and he can be cautious around strangers. He reportedly does well with other dogs, while his compatibility with cats is unknown. Blue recently had a bite incident involving a stranger. I want to be transparent about this history and provide the circumstances and any additional information needed to help determine an appropriate placement. He is not suitable for a home with children. Our family is preparing for another child, and we need to find a safe, loving and responsible home for Blue.
