About Lucky Charms

Meet Lucky, a sweet, goofy, people-loving boy who has already beaten the odds. Lucky was such a favorite of the OAS staff and volunteers that they pleaded to extend his time, and that extra time let us bring him into rescue with help from HAIN Rescue Fund. He had a whole community rooting for him before we ever met him, and it didn't take long to see why. Lucky is social and affectionate, and he matches the energy around him: he'll play when it's time to play and snuggle when it's time to relax. He's eager to please and picking up commands quickly. He's a little clumsy in the most endearing way, and he does the happiest little hop when he gets excited. Crate-trained Cat-tested and did great Very barky/reactive to new dogs on leash but has played well with other large dogs with slow, thoughtful introductions over the course of weeks Very people-oriented and cuddly Lucky would thrive in a home that wants a loving, goofy companion to be part of everyday life. Ideally the only dog in the home, but can set up a meet n greet with a large dog-friendly dog with our dog trainer to ensure safety. He lives up to his name in every way, and whoever adopts him will be the lucky one.
