URGENT: ROCKY NEEDS A LOVING HOME ASAP! PLEASE SHARE! Meet Rocky, an approximately 8-year-old Anatolian Shepherd with a heart of gold and an incredible story of survival. Just a few months ago, Rocky was found wandering the streets of Homestead, completely emaciated and starving. Desperate for love and safety, he followed a kind woman's car to a friend's home and patiently waited outside for her to come out. How could anyone resist? She took him in, and he has been nothing short of amazing. Rocky is truly a wonderful companion! * Approximately 8 years old * Calm, laid-back, affectionate and well-mannered * Knows his commands and listens beautifully * 100% housebroken and crate trained * Good with small and large dogs, preferably females * Good with cats and young children * Playful when he's comfortable * Neutered, dewormed and heartworm negative Rocky does have some resource guarding tendencies with food and toys, so a home that understands how to manage this would be ideal. HERE'S THE HEARTBREAKING PART: His rescuer absolutely adores him, but unfortunately, her Golden Retriever isn't accepting him. Despite everyone's best efforts, Rocky urgently needs another home. After everything this sweet boy has survived, we cannot let his next stop be a shelter. He deserves stability, love and a family who will appreciate the incredible dog he is.
