Meet Shep, this darling 5-month-old German Shepherd. At just 35 pounds, he is fully vetted, smart, playful, and sweet as can be. He was purchased from a breeder by a family who wanted to give him a home. But when the father was deployed overseas, the mother found herself unable to manage the young children and a puppy on her own. Through no fault of his own, this beautiful boy was surrendered to a crowded shelter. Now he is at a kill shelter that euthanizes for space. This puppy is good with dogs, cats, and children. He loves people, enjoys playing, and has so much potential. He is exactly the kind of young dog who should be growing up with a family-not sitting in an overcrowded shelter with his life at risk. He wasn't abandoned because he was bad. He wasn't surrendered because he was unwanted. He simply ended up in a situation his family could no longer manage. He deserves a safe, committed home that understands the needs of a young German Shepherd and will love him for life. Please don't let this sweet puppy become another victim of shelter overcrowding. SHARE HIM. HELP FIND HIS FAMILY. One share could reach the person who can save his life. Out-of-state adopters are welcome. Transport may be available. TEXT: 201-206-3007
