About Collins

Meet Collins. This handsome, Collie mix boy is just 1 year old and 39 pounds, with so much life ahead of him-if someone gives him the chance. Collins was abandoned in an empty apartment, left behind with no one coming back for him. A mailman discovered him and called Animal Control, giving him a chance to be found. But his story has taken another heartbreaking turn. Collins is now at a crowded shelter and on the euthanasia list because there simply isn't enough space. He survived being abandoned. Please don't let a lack of shelter space be the end of his story. Collins is fully vetted, house-trained, and walks well on a leash. He is good with everyone, including dogs and cats, and deserves a family who will love him, protect him, and never leave him behind. At just one year old, he should be discovering the world, going on walks, playing in the yard, and curling up beside his family. Instead, he is waiting in a shelter, and his time is running out. He didn't choose to be abandoned. He didn't choose to end up in a shelter. And he shouldn't lose his life because there is no room for him. Please help us change his story. SHARE COLLINS.
