NIKKI & RIKKI: TWO SWEET GIRLS WITH PLAYTIME ON PAUSE! These lovely ladies are both 3 years old and still undergoing heartworm treatment. They need about two more weeks of quiet, calm time-but try explaining that to two girls who LOVE to run and play! Their hearts need rest, even if their paws have other plans! Nikki is the more outgoing girl. She'll climb the doggy stairs to join you in bed for snuggles, and scratches are definitely the way to her heart! Rikki is a little more reserved and needs time to feel comfortable and let her personality shine. Neither girl is a big fan of being picked up just yet, so patience and letting them come to you will help build their confidence. Both girls are housebroken! They'll also use a potty pad if that's the only option available. For now, we're keeping life peaceful while they finish this important part of treatment.
