About Evelyn

Meet Evelyn! Evelyn is an adorable 2-month-old Shepherd mix weighing approximately 11 pounds. This sweet girl has had a rough start to life, but she's ready to put her past behind her and find a loving forever family! Evelyn and her siblings spent the first few months of their lives living outside without proper food or care. Thankfully, they were rescued, and Evelyn is now experiencing what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for. Despite her difficult beginning, Evelyn has a gentle and affectionate personality. She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality begins to shine. She just needs a little patience and reassurance as she continues building her confidence. Evelyn is currently learning her house manners and is already doing well with crate training. She's also working on her leash skills and getting more comfortable exploring the world around her. Her foster is introducing her to cats, but she is still learning how to interact with them, so her compatibility with feline friends is not yet fully known. As a young puppy, Evelyn will benefit from a family committed to continuing her training, socialization, and providing plenty of love and encouragement. She would thrive in a patient home where she can continue gaining confidence at her own pace. Evelyn may not have had the best beginning, but she deserves a future filled with love, security, and happiness. She's ready to find a family who will show her just how wonderful life can be! Evelyn is currently located in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to most states for an additional $300 transport fee.
