About Eve-HELP, URGENT!!!

The shelter is critically over-capacity, meaning it is euthanizing good doggies due to limited space!!! Is a crapshoot which dogs are chosen. Pure bred Shepherds are not adoptable through the shelter, Chicago Animal Care and Control, can only go through a rescue org, so harder to get out to safety, since the rescue orgs. need fosters (can be fostered or foster to adopt through a rescue org). The following info. about cutie Eve is from the rescue org: Is about 3 years old, came in as an owner surrender because the owner had a stroke and can no longer take care of her. Eve is timid with people and dogs, per the owner. She did OK meeting another dog, but she was very timid and kind of just avoided. Also, very nervous with handling and doesn't really want to interact with you. She appears to be really just uncomfortable and scared in this environment right now, which is not surprising considering her world, as her owner's, is upside down. She has fly bitten ears which will heal, but heart-breaking to see, poor doggie. Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue is taking applications for scared and heartbroken Eve, if live in Chicago, north of Chicago, Wisconsin, and part of Michigan (https://www.mlgsdr.com/) and German Shepherd Rescue, Inc., if live in Chicago/Chicagoland area/part of Indiana (https://gsrescue1.org/ ). Please apply to whichever is applicable, even both, if within the boundaries. PLEASE, if have room in your heart and home for Eve, she really needs you, apply! Needs a home where she will feel safe and loved, cared for, allowed to go at her own pace.
