%90 MEET SCOUT: A SHIBA INU AND CORGI HAD A BABY, AND SHE GOT ALL THE ATTITUDE. Okay, hear me out. Have you ever wondered what a Shiba Inu and a Corgi mix would look like? Pretty sure Scout is the answer. We can't confirm the genetics, but the evidence is suspiciously strong. At 2-3 years old and 23 lbs, Scout is low to the ground, runs around with her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth, and has a fluffy little behind that deserves its own fan club. ٴ And no, she is NOT barkless. She has opinions, a voice, and the diva personality to match either one of the breeds we suspect she's made of. She's basically a tiny, fluffy CEO who expects you to respect her authority. But underneath all that sass? A girl who LOVES affection, belly rubs, walks, and going places with her people. %9D%A4%8F Scout is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash. She's got plenty of good qualities, but we're going to be honest about the quirks, too. %90%BE A few things her future family needs to know: No cats, please. Scout has made her position on that matter abundantly clear. She guards her food around other dogs, but feeding her separately in her crate is an easy solution. Everyone gets to enjoy dinner without a committee meeting. When meeting new dogs, she can be a little bull in a china shop. She's enthusiastic and can come on strong, which may overwhelm more timid dogs. Thoughtful introductions and compatible canine friends are important. Scout is a whole lot of personality packed into 23 lbs of fluffy, short-legged sass. If you appreciate a girl with opinions, a cute behind, and absolutely no interest in being mistaken for a quiet dog, she might just be your girl. Ready to welcome this little diva into your life? %90%BE Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you're applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network.
