He's a texas heeler(australian shepherd, heeler mix).he is a wonderful dog.he is really having a hard time adjusting to our home.no fault of his own.he is 6 months old, born April 22nd, 2026,chocolate brown and white.our house operates 24/7 with a 3rd shifter and someone with various day hours, there's 6 people in our home, and he just isnt adjusting to it very well.he would benefit from a solid schedule.I am seeing where he would be better suited in the country or on a farm. he does pull on the leash but i think he would stay close if he could walk without one in the country. he loves laying out in the yard, is housetrained and not neutered because of his age. he was in the kennel most of the time before I took him in and here he is free roam. i do walk him at least twice a day to burn off energy and he spends most of the day outside. He deserves a life that fits him, not being forced into a life that doesnt support him. he is up to date on shots, i have the vet records. he eats kibble, blue buffalo lamb blend i just bought a 30 pound bag for him, he is very interested in a raw diet, has elevated food dish, 2 leashes,2 harnesses (a small and medium one for when he's older), toys, doggie doo bags, kennel and bed. He knows some commands: sit, lay, down although he needs some repeats.
