About Rudy

Meet Your New Beagle Bestie! This handsome 8-year-old, 29-pound, tri-colored Beagle has a nose for adventure and a heart full of love. He came to the shelter as a stray, but it didn't take long for him to win everyone over! He's feeling much happier after having 10 teeth removed during a dental on October 19-and he's ready to share plenty of smiles with his remaining pearly whites. Like a true Beagle, he loves being with his people, soaking up attention, and exploring every interesting scent along the way. He's dog-friendly when out and about, though he can get a little jealous at home if another dog is getting all the attention. He may be happiest with a family who enjoys making him their special sidekick. A home without cats is best, since his instincts make it difficult for him to leave feline friends alone. He's also extremely potty-trained and makes sure you know when he needs to go outside. If you don't catch his first hint, he'll keep reminding you until it's time for a potty break! If you're looking for a loving companion with a curious nose, a big personality, and lots of affection to give, this sweet Beagle may be your perfect match.
