About Slinky

Meet Slinky, one of the ridiculously adorable puppies in our Toy Story litter. This sweet German Shepherd/Lab/Husky/Doberman mix is ready to stretch his way right into your heart and become someone's favorite little sidekick! Slinky is a typical happy puppy: playful, outgoing, smart, and well-socialized. He loves meeting people and is ready to make friends wherever he goes. Whether he's playing with his siblings, discovering something new, or enjoying attention from his humans, Slinky is making the most of his puppy days while waiting for his forever family to find him. His mama is a petite Doberman mix who did an amazing job raising and protecting her babies until they could be helped from an unfortunate situation. Dad is unknown, but this crew appears to have a pretty impressive blend of breeds! Slinky is estimated to grow into a medium-to-large-sized dog, so his future family should be ready for a smart, active companion who will need continued training, exercise, and enrichment as he matures. Slinky does have an umbilical hernia, but it isn't causing him any discomfort or interfering with his happy puppy life. He's completely unbothered by it! Our rescue will take care of the hernia repair along with his neuter, so this little guy and you can focus on the important things in life: playing, learning, cuddling, and finding his people. As he grows, Slinky will benefit from a family ready to guide him with patience, consistency, and positive training. With his intelligence, playful spirit, and affectionate personality, he's got all the makings of a wonderful family companion. He may be named after a toy, but Slinky is the real deal: one sweet puppy, one big future, and a whole lifetime of love waiting to happen. You've got a friend in Slinky. Let him prove it!
