About Smokey

Smokey just asks for a quiet, calm, loving home to live out the remainder of his life. Smokey was found as a stray and no one claimed ownership. We could not tolerate having this sweet dog stay there, so we had Smokey transported to our rescue. He was in very bad physical and psychological shape at the time with hair loss, terrible ear infection, severely overgrown nails, and extreme weight loss. He came to us in deep depression. With love, gentle care, good food, and a soft bed, Smokey has finally begun wagging his tail. It takes a huge heart to open one's home to a senior dog and we are trying to find that special someone. This boy has been neutered and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $50. Applications to adopt are at kathisk9s.org Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants
