About Rocky

Rocky is a very sweet Yorkie/Silky boy who was rescued from an abusive home where his owner shocked him with a shock collar for fun. He was extremely underweight when family members intervened and got him surrendered. Now safe in one of Dexter's best foster homes, he has gained weight and blossomed into a happy, loving little dog. Due to his history of abuse, Rocky needs a special home that will help him build his confidence - preferably a home without a lot of visitors, as he takes time to warm up to new people, and not a home with small children. But he is extremely loving and devoted once he trusts you. His ideal home is with a single adult female, preferably someone who works from home or is retired, who will give him time to decompress.
