About BRAIN

Meet BRAIN, our 'Friendly Giant!' He is a 1��%BD%BD years old Great Pyrenees mixed Labrador, but underneath that big, strong body is one of the gentlest hearts you'll ever meet. Brain has always had an incredible soft spot for puppies. From the time they were tiny, he would quietly watch over them while they slept and even help clean them, giving their tired mom a much-needed break. There was something so touching about watching this big dog being so incredibly gentle with the smallest members of his family. Brain was raised on our 10-acre farm with his sister Pinky, other dogs, cats, chickens, and cows. He has always watched over his family and the animals around him, especially at night. His nickname is 'Friendly Giant' because he absolutely LOVES people. A stranger doesn't stay a stranger for very long around Brain! His tail starts wagging, the kisses begin, and suddenly he has a new best friend. Brain is also remarkably loyal. Even with an open farm gate facing a busy road, he stayed home. During our three-day move from Texas to Virginia, he traveled with other dogs and cats, stayed with his family at every stop, returned when called, and climbed back into the van each morning ready for another day. Brain looks like a big, powerful protector, but the dog inside is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and devoted to the ones he loves. Brain may be a giant, but his heart is even bigger. He has spent his young life watching over everyone else. Now this sweet boy deserves a family of his own to watch over him.
