About PINKY

Meet Pinky! She is a 1.5 years old Great Pyrenees mixed Labrador. She was raised on our 10-acre farm with her brother Brain and surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, cows, and other animals. She is incredibly smart, gentle, loyal, obedient, and easy to train. She listens very well and usually follows a command the first time. One of the sweetest things about Pinky is her incredible nurturing instinct. She absolutely loves puppies. She watches over them, protects them, cleans their ears and little bottoms, and makes sure they are okay. Her patience with them melts our hearts. At feeding time, every dog gets a separate bowl, but sometimes the puppies finish first and wander over to Pinky's bowl. Instead of growling, snapping, or guarding her food, Pinky simply lets them eat right alongside her-or even lets them take over her bowl. That's just Pinky. She takes care of the little ones before herself. But don't let that gentle heart fool you-Pinky is also our 'Protector of the Realm' On our farm, she loved roaming the property, watching over the other animals and protecting the pack and our chickens. Pinky also LOVES people-maybe a little too much! When a stranger comes around, instead of acting suspicious, her tail starts wagging and she's ready to make a new best friend. She would probably invite them right into the house herself! What touches us most is Pinky's loyalty. Our farm gate faced a busy road and opened whenever our cars came and went. Even on days it was accidentally left open, Pinky never tried to run away. She would simply sit near the open gate and watch the cars go by without crossing into the road. Home and family are where she wants to be. Pinky grew up surrounded by family and farm animals. She has spent her young life watching over everyone around her, and now this sweet girl deserves a forever family who will love and take care of her.
