About Denver

Denver is a 6 year old Australian Shepard. He is a very sweet and loving boy. He learns quickly and is excited to learn new tricks and commands. He can be a bit nervous, and seems to be selectively dog reactive. We have had him out and around other dogs in the home and he has done well but seems to be a little snappy when his boundaries are repeatedly crossed, prefers to be an only dog if possible. We have noticed he is not as pet friendly while on a leash but does well if off leash on opposite sides of a fence. He knows basic commands and can do well on walks when he is comfortable with the area. He would do better with a large yard or someone who can give him the time to work some of his energy out. He loves attention. Fireworks and thunderstorms do give him anxiety at that time of year. He's an amazing boy and we are sad to give him up but we no longer have the space for him to be happy due to change in living situation and need for him to be the only pet.
