About Patches

***Pathes appears to be an english/redtick coonhound mix but that breed category is not avaialble on this website. *** Meet Patches! Patches and his siblings came to us from a rural shelter with more dog than adopters. They needed some TCL but are now ready to find their forever homes. At 4 months old and 30 pounds, we can only guess on their breed mix but suspect they are going to be hefty when grown! Patches has begun house training with a doggie door and walking on leash. He loves playing with all the dogs in his foster home but is more nervous around new dogs and in new situations. Patches is lookiing for a supportive home who will continue to introduce him to new situations while making him feel safe. Patches is a beautiful dog and is sure to bring joy and love to the family who chooses him for many years to come. Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3 charitable rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, Va. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
